Color Coding System for Registered Vehicles in Mineral Transportation

To ensure easy and effective identification of registered vehicles used in minor mineral mining/transportation within the state, the Mining Department has introduced a special color scheme and a standardized pattern. Just like oil companies (e.g., Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited) or milk tankers use specific colors and designs to maintain uniformity and ensure distinct identification, similarly, vehicles registered for mineral transportation are required to be painted in the department-specified special color and pattern./p>
