1.  Which vehicles can be registered on portal?

Only vehicle engaged in mining and mineral transporation can be registered on this portal. Registration of any other vehicles will not be accepted.

2.  Whether vehicles engaged in inter state mineral transportaion also need to be registered ?

Yes.vehicles engaged in inter state mineral transportaion also need to be registered

3. What are the informations required for vehicle registration?

Information regarding Name of the vehicle owner, Vehicle Registration Number,Engine Number,Chasis Number etc.are to be provided correctly. In case, any information is found incorrect, registration is liable to be ejected.

4.  What are the documents required for vehicle registration?

Details of document required for vhicle registration is given below:-

• o Vehicle Front Photo – (Only jpeg, png, jpg, pdf) – Less than 1 MB
• o Vehicle Side Photo – (Only jpeg, png, jpg, pdf) – Less than 1 MB
• o Vehicle Back Photo – (Only jpeg, png, jpg, pdf) – Less than 1 MB
• o RC (Registration Certificate) – (Only jpeg, png, jpg, pdf) – Less than 1 MB
• o Permit Document – (Only jpeg, png, jpg, pdf) – Less than 1 MB

5.  What will happen if the information provided is found incorrect?

If the information is found incorrect or misleading, vehicle registration can be cancelled and suitable legal action may be taken by the Department.

6.  What is the process of vehicle verification?

After the registration process is complete, it will be verified by Directorate, Geology and Mining or any other competent authority.

7.  Will the data provided by me will be safe and confidential?

Data provided by you will be used for monitoring and regulatory compliances. It will be confidential but can be shared with competent authorities if required.

8.  Who will be responsible for safety of USer ID and Password?

User, himself , will be responsible for safety of his User ID and Password.DGM will not be responsible for its misuse.

9.  What will happen in case of misuse of portal?

Misuse of portal such as hacking,illegitimate access is criminal offence. In such case, strict legal action will be taken.

10.  Can the rules be ammend?

Directorate of Geology and Mining reserves the right to ammend any rule regarding vehicle registration without prior information.

11.  What should we do before we start registration process?

Department of Mining,U.P. is planning to resolve the following problems of transporters in mineral transportation to promote legal mining /transportation in the state:-

• Prevent generation of fake Transit Pass using details of other transporters.
• In case of delayed completion of trip due to vehicle break down, penalty imosed without taking due cognizance of the problem.
• Demotivating transporters engaged in fair transportaion of mineral by misutilizing their minetag.
• Transpotaion of mineral without transit pass by the driver without bring it into the notice of Vehicle Owner and compelled to pay the penalty for illegal mineral transportation.
• Any other genuine problem of the transporter.

14.  What are the benefits of vehicle registration.?
